This 2021, the World Organization of Tourism Journalism (WOTJ) is celebrating its 10th anniversary! The joy of this event is shared internationally, as the organization has more than 300 members from various countries and over 10,000 students have earned diplomas via their workshops and other events.

The first event to kick off a festive year for the WOTJ was held in Bariloche. Thanks to its organizing host, the Director for OMPT in Argentina, Mr. Carlos Hidalgo and the support and assistance of public and private dignitaries in the tourism field such as Alberto Holgado, hotel host, Belén García Bertone, president of the Chamber of Tourism, and Martha Vélez, Minister of the province of Río Negro. All enjoyed the facilities and hospitality of the Charming Bariloche Luxury Lodge & Private Hotel.

Even the virtual attendees were able to admire the impressive landscape. Miguel Ledhesma, Founder of the WOTJ, thanked everyone for the support received during the 10 years since the organization’s creation. He was especially pleased to share his satisfaction with the current collaborative and associative work that he has led throughout the past decade .

Congratulations Miguel Ledhesma! We wish for many more years of success for the World Organization for Tourism Journalism.
