Young Shepard from Chimborazo

A friend and I were headed up the slopes of Chimborazo in a hired taxi to get some late afternoon shots of the mountain itself. Our driver, Angel, pulled off to the side of the highway so we could take photos of some llamas grazing on the high mountain grass. As we were standing on the roadside, a huge herd of llamas poured off the mountain and onto the road itself, filling both lanes of traffic. Behind them was a young man, his eyes wide as our cameras clicked away and took photos of his herd. As they passed, we thought we might be finished taking photos. But then the young boy turned to look at us, a huge smile lighting up his entire face.
