An event every year that begins at 12:00 am on of June, repeating indefinitely
Inti Raymi (June Solstice), Ecuadorian Sierra
The June Solstice is widely celebrated throughout the Ecuadorian Andes but the Imbabura Province offers some of the most iconic and colorful processions on the mainland. In the south, the archeology site of Ingapirca holds an annual celebration as well. For smaller communities, the solstice is often celebrated on the weekend that falls closest to June 21.
